Yes, I'm writing a lot today, which mostly comes from the fact that I should clean my apartment, but I end up getting annoyed throwing things around and the fact that my body is filled with fever does not really end, so I end up at the computer almost hourly.
Well, I have something to tell to: I'm getting a car! Finally! After so many months in LA without something that get's you from A to B this is the most exciting thing ever! It's not the prettiest car in the world, but for christssake it is a CAR! It's silver, and looks king of like this:
A car! You may think what do I need a car for when I'm coming back for summer anyways, now... I am still here for one more month, (actually just 26 days - f*** time is flying!) and after that Kelsey is gonna guard my new precious possession for the time I'm away, plus, the car is probably way cheaper then anything else I could get, since Olive desperately has to get rid of it because she's moving to New York - good for me.
Aaand my flights are booked!
Los Angeles (LAX) - Zurich (ZRH) APR26 Departure 7:30 PM - Arrival 4:45 PM
Zurich (ZRH) - Toronto (YYZ) JUL25 Departure 1:20 PM - Arrival 4:10 PM
Toronto (YYZ) - Los Angeles (LAX) JUL25 Arrival 5:45 PM - Arrival 7:55 PM
Before I then fly to New York:
Los Angeles (LAX) - New York (JFK) JUL30 Departure 9:30 AM - Arrival 6:10 PM
New York (JFK) - Los Angeles (LAX) SEP06 Departure 3:10 PM - Arrival 6:43 PM
This summer is going to be awesome! Lucerne, New York, be prepared. The fun thing is Summer has already begun here with 84°F (29°C) all day long. I love the sun.
Let me go change the laundry and go back to cleaning up my apartment before I go back to learning lines.
See you soon!

60's, Flowerpower and nuns
The last few days, I'm not gonna deny it, I slightly struggled with the fact that I got cast as a Nun. We went so much into Catholism and prayers and god, that I felt kind of out of place. But I'm getting there. Sometimes you have to work harder for a character, sometimes not.
Moonchildren on the other hand is as perfect as it can be. We started "blocking" yesterday. Well, yea, blocking in the idea of: Just do whatever you want and if we like it, we'll keep it. it's fucking awesome. I yell at Christian while being exactly in his face, I slam doors, crawl around on the floor, have a joint smoking scene and it is basically just awesome. I literally would wish does rehearsals would last longer. Two hours of Rehearsal is not enough, it's like telling a little kid in a candy shop that it can have whatever it wants, the kid walkes around and as soon as it goes straight forward the first candybar the time is up and it can't have anything anymore. It's mean and sad. But at least there are two hours.
Mr. Hart gave me back all my love for acting. He really is a teacher where I just go: 'Fuck it' He's gonna let me do my shit and if he likes it he's gonna love it, and if not he's gonna change it, that's how easy as it goes. I mean, okay, it sucks doing a sink scene 700 times, just because you're timing has to be kind of perfect, but who the fuck cares, Mr. Hart wanted it perfect then so it'll be perfect and then he's giving us freedom again, like, who the hell would have known that we'd all end up on the floor? It was kind of awesome. I gonna take some pictures tomorrow, especially from the set (there's a green table with yellow chairs, a patterned couch, a purple chair and red beanbags, don't tell me that's not awesome).
I gonna learn lines now.
Take care lovelies.
xoxo
PS: if you need something to cheer you up, this video is awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbZ9uCQW1Hk&feature=player_embedded and yes I am aware of the fact that it is wether 60's nor 50's but pure 80's

Good Night.
So, I'm finally going to sleep.
I don't know what kept me up so long... Research? Music? Phone calls? Reading Plays? Biographies? Well, it doesn't matter in the end does it? I just gonna go to sleep, count sheeps and dream about flowers. I don't know what it is about Moonchildren that can keep me up all night without getting me tired.
Well, that's not the only thing I did today (wow) I went to the Comedy dell Arte Workshop and Performance. Carlos Garcia Esteves, if you have time.
Otherwise some music: Sophie Hunger - Leave me with the monkeys or some 60's music like Daniel by Elton John or One tin Soldier or where have all the flowers gone by Pete Seeger or Imagine by John Lennon - yes I'm totally becoming a hippie. I wanna wear flowers in my hair and not sleep. But not sleeping is a bad idea, so I'll be a good girl and go to bed now.

Moonchildren
Okay, watch out, this is coming from me, are you ready? Okay: Research is fun! It really is. Well, I believe Moonchildren is one of the most fun - I mean the 60's come on, who wouldn't have fun with that?! Especially when you are doing fashion and clothing! All the colors, with the colorful thights, the miniskirts, the hairbands, the patterns, with stripes, dots, flowers, oversized dresses, barefeet, hairbands, flowers everywhere, black eyeliner, oversized earrings, haircuts, boots, wests, everything basically.
Maybe I'm just to much in love with this play! I mean I'm playing a bitch (finally! I've waited for this the whole year!), who is a lead (YEA!) I have an imaginary cat (yea - beat THAT!) we're all hippies (the discussion we had about that today really made me want to smoke weed haha) and to perfect the whole experience: Perry Hart is the director! How much better can it get? Not at all - I agree. I feel like I could sit in rehearsal all day. I would actually love that. That's what I came here for and it's awesome! It's going to be awesome. Well let me do some homework now. I still can't believe this is coming from me! Gosh I love my life! <3

Exam Plays!!!!
It's done. Second semester, Fist year - it's done. No more school, no more classes, no more Voice and Speech, no more Theatre History, no more Alexander Technique, just pure rehearsal process. I love it. The time is flying by, and I love my new schedule (Afternoon classes!) same as my plays: MoonChildren and Once a Catholic. It's gonna be great. Now I can just breath and go to bed - I wanted to do that for quiet some time.
Sleep well my lovelies

A normal day at AADA
Well I just got home, and I the one thing I should probably do is study, but I took some pictures today (and Marina) and I believe they're worth uploading. A completely normal day at the AADA. Yes, you probably gonna have the feeling that everyone is smoking, and I'm really tempted to say: "Ihr wisst schon, Künstler", but yea, have a look yourself...
(Marina - the perfect Model!)
(The Watermelon.)
(Kelsey - almost as good as a headshot isn't it ;P)
(Clownwork...)
Wow, I'm kinda impressed, seems like I found the ones without cigarettes on them haha

Sunday II
Musik: Mumford and Sons
Biggest Enemy: Voice and Speech.

First of all let me get so some picture proof from Thursdays Shooting (thank you Kelsey):
(This thing on the wall made me so rediculousely happy! It smiled like noone else - Yes, I'm officially crazy)
And then some other pictures appeared in Kelseys Phone aswell.
(Sitting on Mikaela)
(The only german those two crazy know? "Ich habe Vogelscheisse im Gesicht", "Ich muss meinen Schnurrbart rasieren" and "Ich habe einen Schraubenzieher in meinem Arsch verlohren")
(Yes, we're colorful people.)
(This Picture is basically for you Fabio, I know you have a good imagination, but I don't think you would actually come up with that picture with everything I've told you. Now you have a real picture, it maybe just one room, but at least it is one room!)
(Oh yea, I nearly forgot: i had green hair once...)

Not without a Visa...
First of all, I'd like to say: 48°F (9°C) is WAY to cold! Especially when you had like a week of sunshine! Well I'm not gonna bitch here, it was a pretty awesome day with 70°F (21°C) but still, when we got up this morning it was 35°F (1.6°C) and that's just insane. It probably didn't really helped either that my body didn't really got sleep for like 48 hours and just ate shrimps within the last 24 - yea that happens from time to time when you don't have time to do anything...
But never mind. Actually everything's fine. Kelsey took me to the shooting range yesterday - it was friggin awesome! Really! And then Pool and St. Particks Day - it was exactly what I needed within this fucking Final time.
And then today I saw the One Person Shows from Second year! It was freaking astonishing! Good job guys really! A rollercoaster of emotions and laughter that bought me to tears. Thank you so much.
Oh yea, while I'm still on it, let me quote my favorite of tonight:
"So Miss Hensel usually sais: 'Be aware of the foreigners! They gonna take your jobs!' But to all you foreigners: 'But not without a visa!' What do you think of that? Yea, eat it foreigners!" - OMG I love it. (yes I just wrote OMG and just became really american)
I love you.
And if you seriousely need something to laugh about, check this out, it's hilarious:

36.
Well, this is gonna be a short one, since I actually should be asleep, or at least pretend that I am. My Shakespeare Paper's due tomorrow, if you wonder why I'm still up, so...
Weather is still beautiful, finals still freak me out, an there's just one week left of school before Exam plays start, which means I'll be through first year within the next 36 days, this is scary. Well anyways, I'll go sleep.

Sometimes you need time to waste.
Well, yea, I am at the moment where I don't have any time to wast, but puh - we survived two finals today, and sometimes you need a break.
I ran into Movement Final today, at 9 and then rehearsal for Shakespeare, spending my lunch break getting barstools back to the school and then having History presentation at 2 - I deserved a break.
So I got my nails done (not a good idea when you actually have to get the barstools back to your apartment again...) and we photoboothed our time away. The three ladys (sometimes it always comes down to the three of us - I like that.)

Getting close.
Finally have officially begun and one main evidence of this is when you need at least two energy drinks to make it through a day... How I love acting school haha
Well, I'll make it short, I just needed a break (desperately!)
Weather: Warm and springy
Hours of sleep: No clue.
Thing that's driving me mad: The 'Ode to the West Wind' - I mean seriously! Normaly I'm quiet good in memorizing stuff but this... God help me!
Accent: French
Theatre History: The Ancient Greeks
Game to perform tomorrow: 'Who want's to be a millionaire?'
Furniture and stuff transporting tomorrow: White blanked, two barstools, tutu, point shoes, computer (wow, that's not even too much! haha)
Music that's getting me through the night: Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes (amazing Album)
Body Part I'm most concerned of: Feet (yes, I'm doing my final in point tomorrow - and yes, it was my own idea...)
Reward for getting through tomorrow: Maniqure (tomorrow - YEY)
Well I guess I should go back to the greeks and to my lovely Ode... Ohhhhhhhh Wild West Wind. Think of me tomorrow...
xoxo
PS: If you need music, try this, it has been keeping me alive for the whole evening now:

Bitching mood.
Vor allem die 'Ode to the West Wind'!!!
Habt freude.

Kennedy's Children
Sometimes reading a play for school really is educating. I am still in love with Kennedy's Children, and seriouslly - the more I read It the more I love it. It makes you think, and - for my monolog - transports you back to a time almost forgotten. The time of Ava Gardner, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Lana Turner. I have to admit, I like this time, I really do. A time where elegance was appropriate and Sex was a scandal, that would have been fun

A familiar face...
Ah yea, and something else happened today. It was quiet awesome and weird at the same time. Now, I've been a little obsessed with Gossip Girl lately, but anyways, I watched the whole first season again and am now moving forward to the second one (yes... I know) Well, today I had lunch with Rebekka, which I haven't seen in quiet a time, and while we are sitting there, a man comes up to us, telling her how good she's doing and explaining to us, that even professional actors loose their lines when they have there first rehearsal on the actual stage. I'm just sitting there, thinking: "Well, he seems nice, is he a new teacher? I have not seen him on campus before, but I could swear I know that guy" - Well he walks away and Rebekka turns to me asking: "Did you recognize him?", maybe I should have - I probably should have! It was Sam Robards, the guy who's playing Captain Achibald on Gossip Girl.
Well, at least I thought his face looked familiar...
And last but not least: Happy Birthday Georgina!

Don't you forget about me...
A little tribute to the Breakfast Club. I can't believe how long I haven't seen this movie now. But I still remember so many details and how it influenced me in so many ways. This is just for you to think back to your favorite movie, or the breakfast Club, and if you've never seen it, I definitely advice you to watch it, it's a tiny bit of culture haha.
PS, I remember one thing pretty exactly. After I first watched the movie, there was one thing: I really wanted to get Molly Ringwalds Nailpolish - I'm obsessed with it up till today haha

How old are you if you subtract all the days when you did not live?
I just saw that a friend of mine posted that as her status, and it made me think.
I mean, really: How old are you if you subtract all the days when you did not live?
And then I thought of yesterday. A day lived harder and fuller than so many before. I think there was not one moment where I didn't feel alive yesterday, not one moment that wasn't filled with emotion. It was exhausting but magical at the same moment. Life is here to be lived, don't let it pass away. It's yours to full it's yours to live, make the best out of it!
And after a day filled with emotion and everything we got into a night full of the same: Night of Dementia or simple: Vance and Garrets birthday Party. It was on the rooftop of the Hollywood Towers, it was packed, it was loud, whole LA was beyond us, the Hollywood sign just there and we had the time of our lives. That's how it should be. Don't waste your time because your scared, don't wast your life holding yourself back. Try to life and you'll may learn to fly.
xoxo

Und Schuuuule
Well let me see how much I can write, just talking 'bout school. (this may sound bowring - I don't know jet how it's gonna be...)
My life at the moment basically IS school, getting into the final weeks of the semester. Today I got the inventation to all the Final Performances of the Second Years - it really is coming to an end.
But everything's going great at the Moment. Voice and speech is not too bad: For tomorrow I have to have the Warm up memorized, and the two Monologes, but that's fine, and then Acting started to be fun again. I know this sounds kind of awful, because acting is what I am here for, and it hasn't been fun? Well, with acting it is like in life - there are good times, amazing times and then the ones that are like - naaah... I had that naah phase for some weeks now, but then out of some reason Miss Bleier changed my life, but just giving me like 2 notes - that COMPLETELY made sense! Anyways, still working on the two scenes thou: Crazy, drunk chick and hypper sporty beauty girl, it's fun. Plus we have Clownwork to do: ballerina Clowns: YEY!
For Alexander Technique I don't know what to say: I'm relaxing? But it actually helps.
Then Movement, in which Miss Nichols made me commit to a ballerina picture today (I'm haunted by ballerinas!) First I thought how boring, but maybe it's gonna be fun. I mean she has never seen me dancing - actually dancing ballet, so it's going to be okay. Styles and Shakespear are moving along aswell. It is way more fun if you don't give a fuck how you look like! Even if Shakespear wrote those incredibly long and complicated stuff, if you just go with it and have fun it is amazing!
Theatre History - still is Theatre History. But Mikaela and I still have to shoot that fucking movie for the presentation!
That leaves Physical Acting. I still love this class. I still have no idea what it is about, but it is the one thing I'm always looking forward during the week. Alex is awesome.
Well I guess that's all I can say about actual school stuff. Was it was to boring? If yes, I'm not going to aoplogize, because you probably didn't even read up to here ,P
But anyways, moving on. Friday one finally the Night of Dementia Party is coming up - I don't know how long we've been waiting for this. It's gonna be awesome (hopefully). Anyways enough of the talking.
Have a wonderful day
