A dream of New York

The weekend has been awsome, but the more time I spend in LA the more I miss NY. I Miss the busy streets, the people, the breez but most of all the freedom. LA is huge, spread out and wide, it has it's space for everyone, but it's nothing compared to the one city...

Section 4

I just went through some pictures, and I realized that most of you don't even know my lovely section. Even though classes have ended already and we're going into examplays, you should really see my class, so here you go.

Happy Thanksgiving

My first Thanksgiving out of a long row, and it was awsome! It's about family and eat... I was invited to Kalis house and her family is just lovely. We had like two families on one table: Kalis family with her brother, her sister, her mam and her ant and the AADA family Nelle, Nicolas, Nicolas, Tessa, J.M and Mikel.
It was the most awsome Thanksgiving ever, and I think the Swiss should invent a Chocolate day, where we just eat Chocolate Fondue... I know I have amazing ideas... haha

... darauf hin die Polizei gerufen wird
... die Feuerwehr zuerst auftaucht
... dannach die Polizei mit 20 Mann anrückt
... dein Wohnblock von zwei Hellikoptern überflogen wird

Lichtermeer

Gestern hat Kali ihren noch nicht ganz Geburtstag gefeiert, im Andaz in West Hollywood. And nothings better than the view. Und nach dem motto: "Look Sex" war es ein doch sehr unterhaltsamer Abend...

Finals.

Exactly five days of school left - I can hardly believe it! 5 days and my first semester at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts is over. Well, the Exam Plays are still to come, but the school part of it is over.
Now only 5 days remaining means there is a lot of work to do, a lot of finals to pass or fail. I just finished up my Alexander Assessment, my Alexander Self Reflection, my movement Paper - enough writing work for today.
So tomorrow I'm having movment finals, means Across the Floor, Warm up and written Paper. Friday's a final free day and then Monday I have Movement Finals Jazz and Voice and Speech Finals Part I (Phonetics and stuff like that) Tuesday there is the Vocal Solo Final, the Vocal Duet Final and the Acting Scene Final. Only one day left there's going to be the Monologe Finals and the Voice and Speech Part two Finals on Wednesday. A lot to do, a lot to work.
And then's Thanksgiving!
I might rather sleep now or I'm not going to survive the next 7 days...

Welcome Life, this is LA

Achterbahn Wochenende! So viel passiert das ich eigentlich überhaubt und ganz und gar nicht weiss was zu schreiben, nur dass das Leben in LA angekommen ist.
Wilkommen Drama, Willkommen Gefühle, Willkommen Egos, Willkommen Höhenflüge, Willkommen Zusammenbrüche.
Eigentlich nur eine frage der Zeit. Drama Studenten ohne Drama? Hätte ja wirklich nicht all zu lange gut gehen können hihi

Foreign Students and the Californian Fall...

Es wird Herbst in Los Angeles, und nachdem ich die braunen Blätter und den Herbstwind in San Francisco gefunden habe, scheint der Califorinan Fall auch langsam in LA gestallt anzunehmen. Zuerst einmal regen, doch zu Glück ist das nicht the main issue, sondern vorallem der kühle wind im sonnigen Gesicht der Stadt - kurz gesagt es ist wunderbar.
Wunderbar und KALT!
Heute in der Schule wurde relativ schnell klar wer von uns Studenten foreign ist und wer sich das Klima in LA gewohnt ist... Wir Europäer leben immernoch in dem Glauben das in Californien immer die Sonne scheint (und das nach einer Woche regen) und das es nie wirklich kalt wird.
Das führte heute dazu das Engländerinnen in kurzen Röckchen, Schweden und Deutsche in kurzen Hosen, Schweizerinnen in Kleidchen und etliche andere Europäer in T-Shirts rumliefen - und fast zu Tode gefrohren sind.
Jap, der Californische Herbst ist nun auch in LA angekommen und ich kann nichts anderes sagen als es gefällt mir (und ich brauch ne neue Garderobe...).

Melrose

Melrose Avenue is AWSOME!
Forgeth about the Rodeo Drive or whatever, if you really like fashion, it may be nice, but it's nothing compared to Melrose! The shops there are awsome, and you can actually affort to buy something! Oh my gosh, I think I'm in love with that place.
And it's not only the shopping, it's the whole atmosphere, it's really awsome, and there are cute coffees everywhere and I feel like I could just live on that street and be unbelivabely happy for the next couple of years. Of cours I would have to win the Lottory first, but that's not that impossible, is it? haha
